What Does Being Penetrated Vaginally Feel Like?

By Kendra Holliday | November 19, 2020

Let’s get this cleared up right off the bat: Do you wanna know what it feels like to be penetrated non-consensually?

So don’t do that. DON’T penetrate other people non-consensually. I can’t believe I have to state the obvious. COME ON, PEOPLE.

Now, let’s move on to how it feels to be vaginally penetrated when you are into it, turned on, etc.

I posed the question on fb and twitter, and got responses from several curious men, but only one from a woman! My friend, Bianca:

“Being penetrated vaginally feels like a void is being filled. Like the right jigsaw piece is in place. Like warm candy. So good you roll your eyes up with pleasure.”

Let me elaborate.

It’s like tucking into this gooey, decadent, absolutely delicious dessert, all sweet and salty and creamy.

It’s like you have a throbbing headache, and someone slips you morphine. Hot, throbbing morphine, for your hot, aching pussy.

It feels like a drug that will save your life.

It feels completely base and primal, like you want to fuck the earth and fill your womb.

It feels the way a spring crop looks, all those new green shoots pushing up through the moist, fertile black soil.

It feels the way you bite into a juicy, sweet watermelon on a hot, sticky summer day.

It feels like jumping into a pile of leaves on a mellow, golden afternoon.

It feels like stepping out into your yard after a foot of snow has fallen on a brilliant, glittering winter morning.

It feels new … every time.

It feels old, and welcoming, and familiar.

It feels like your favorite song coming up on shuffle, right after you sang it in the shower.

It feels like an omen.

It feels like the answer to a riddle.

It feels like your prayers have been answered.

It feels the way you do when you FINALLY remember the name of that song, or movie, or actor that’s been eluding you all day. AHA!

It feels like someone finishing your sentence for you.

It feels clean.

It feels dirty.

It feels like your cup runneth over.

It feels like you just got the best seat in the house.

It feels like all the focus is on YOU.

It feels like you are the X on the treasure map.

It feels like the glow of a Christmas tree.

It feels like the fireworks have just begun, and you can’t wait to see the grand finale.

It feels like a witch cackling in the shadows.

It feels like it might hurt, but it doesn’t. Or maybe it does…

It feels like you are trying to be quiet on the couch, because shhh, your parents are upstairs!

It feels like you just got strapped into the roller coaster, and it’s starting to make its slow, clacking ascent.

It feels scary, exhilarating, joyful, fulfilling.

It feels like the opposite of birthing a baby.

I wonder if it feels like the opposite of what it’s like to penetrate someone vaginally. Is it? I wish I knew!

What does it feel like for you?

I adore this! All of these dreamy metaphors warm the cockles of my English major heart! I was vaginally penetrated over and over again last night by my love as we whispered favorite memories of our love story from the past year. His cock inside me felt like love, it felt like home, it fulfilled my primal desire as well as my emotional needs. Metaphorically, when he came filling me up, it felt like he was drizzling golden liquid butter on my fluffy piping hot biscuit.

    SWOON! That sounds joyous!

I am 49. I have only officially been female for a couple of years now. But from the time I was a teenager I have known what it felt like. I don’t know if it’s memories from a previous life or what. But I have always been able to feel it. Almost like a phantom limb. I imagine sexual situations and being penetrated and I experience all of the physical as well as emotional and mental sensations, as if I had been born with a vagina. On the one hand it is very pleasant, but on the other hand it’s like an ache that I can never truly satisfy.

    What a fascinating perspective!

This is interesting and useful for men to hear. So much of the discussion is usually about orgasm, not the softer feelings and sensations which can be so enjoyable all by themselves even if they don’t lead to orgasm. The advantage is these sensations can by enjoyed for a long time, unlike orgasm.

Does it feel the opposite of wanting to penetrate someone? Probably mainly in the mechanics of how you instinctively want to satisfy the ache. As a man you ache to penetrate and be inside something soft, warm and accepting. And then many of the same descriptions apply.

And how do you get a woman to feel this way when she starts doing the grocery list in her mind during intercourse? I’m sure many men have sensed this in their partner in long-term relationships. So these are inspiring descriptions. Thanks!

feels like being in you
feels like landing at home base
feels like coming home
feels like being crowned home coming king
feels like docking with an orbiting beauty
feels like a lock
like settling in for winter
like a fit I was born to
feels like going back to my beginnings
penetrating you feels like making a point
fells being listened to
like being invited
like the talking is done
and now for the doing
feels like a kiss
feels like the end of a good day
feels like a period at the end
of a good sentence.

O my..feeling of being in you….yes…..thats the title…..that first sensation upon penetrating wet, sensual and swollen lips, that feeling of pleasure given as I ease deeper and am about to feel her soft skin against my balls and feeling of being in you…

What a lovely entry on your sexblog. I wish I’d thought of doing it like that, afraid I use too much prose on mine.

However, that feeling of being filled, removing the longing for its entry, its initial freshness and then the comfort as the temperatures equalise.

The most wonderful experience in the world.

Thanks for publishing it and thanks to Dan, too. Lovely to know what the person who is inside you is feeling during the act.

Thank you for this! I’ve written a number of times about the experience of an orgasm, about the feelings of it washing over me, and each time, it’s a terrific writing exercise. You, um, nailed this one!

Mandy 2013-12-30 04:36:12

That’s how I feel with my only, monogamous partner of 11.5 years ๐Ÿ™‚ love it ๐Ÿ™‚

Thea 2013-12-31 00:52:33

I’ve had times when it feels like his cock radiates glowing white light that activates the entire length of my anterior wall. It feels like I crack open from the inside, and the same glowing, tingling energy moves through my pussy, up my spine and down my legs.

    Miss Scarlet 2014-01-03 11:10:03

I agree with Thea. It feels like a golden sparkling elixir warming and radiating through your entire body. It makes your knees weak and takes your breath away. It turns you to goo, but at the same time makes every part of you vibrate and shake ecstatically. I makes my head spin.

I always had a hard time explaining to men that it doesn’t necessarily matter if I don’t have an orgasm during sex, the sex itself is fulfilling.

      Kendra Holliday 2014-01-03 11:20:08

YES I love Thea’s description. Clearly she is basking in the moment!

Anna 2014-01-02 16:25:12

Like complete relaxation and melting into my partner. Sometimes I just want him inside me and then never move or leave.

I’ve always said getting eaten out is like that first bite of warm apple pie with ice cream – a delicious sweet mix of hot and cold.

Kitty 2014-01-08 15:58:37

Being penetrated feels to me like…like pain. It feels like being stuffed to the gills and like I’m going to explode from the pressure. It feels uncomfortable. It feels like something I’m completely okay with letting go of.

Elizabeth 2016-08-10 15:20:36

That sounds Amazing just like I thought it would feel I hate my penis I wish I was never born I can’t feel anything like that with this thing it’s all over before any real fun begins and I can only climax one at a time never multiple and there’s the fact that I have to touch it it’s just horrible.
