My Pleasure Tool Cabinet

It’s fun comparing my current sex toy collection with my inventory in 2013 – you can see pics here.

I’ve taken to calling “sex toys” pleasure tools, as it’s more fitting. The term “sex toys” remind me of the words “boyfriend” and “girlfriend” – outdated.

Pleasure tool etymology = prepare to please.

I’ve woefully neglected my collection – the cabinet was all dusty, and all the devices were dead.

So, one morning, I gave it a deep clean and tidied things up. It was a wonderful way to mindfully reacquaint myself with so many blasts from my past.

First, I culled the collection, discarding all the decrepit items – old, hard plastic, goofy shapes, the kind of material that attracts lint, gag gifts…

Eew! Bye, bye, yuck yuck. 🙂

Next, I emptied the cabinet and dusted it. I cleaned all the high quality tools, and spent a long time pairing them with their charging cords and plugging them in. You should have seen it – my house had colorful devices dangling and blinking from every outlet, like a kinky little disco.

From the top shelf left, there’s glass, an old school Pocket Rocket, a traditional iRabbit, and some eggs.

Second shelf has a paddle, some kegel balls, incredible Tenga vibrators (they have the best material – so silky smooth and soft!), We-Vibes, butt plugs, a clit sucker, a self-pleasure sleeve for use with a penis.

Ring bell for sex. Ding ding! 🙂

From the back left, there’s a Magic Wand attachment (I LOVE it, omg when I use it I cum so hard, it hurts so good!), Fun Factory tools, a vibrating butt plug, ceramic, wood, my delightful light up vibrator, and two life-size 3D clitoris models, in gold and pink.

More glass, more sleeves, NJOY stainless steel, a life-size model of an IUD in utero, and a boob stress ball from the Museum of Sex gift shop, given to me by David Wraith.

The bottom shelf houses the pink vibrating Cone, surrounded by speculums and such.

To summarize, my favorite brands are TENGA, LELO, Fun Factory, and Crave.

And of course, my FAVORITE pleasure tool is the Magic Wand. Since I use it every morning, I keep it right by my bed for easy access. 🙂

I took several of these items to a self-pleasure discussion I hosted the other night. Just like pleasure tools, I prefer the term self-pleasure in lieu of “masturbation,” as that is also an outdated term (masturbate = “to defile with one’s hand” – um, excuse me?)

It was a great event. I dressed up as The Self-Pleasure Queen, complete with a flowing amethyst gown, a crystal tiara, sparkling jewelry, silver gloves, and of course – my Magic Wand scepter. 🙂
