Though I do agree that there are a couple people on this blog who act like drooling 13 year olds seeing a titty for the first time, I have to say that I would much prefer those people to the ones like yourself who insist on bringing the negativity crabs to the orgy.
It’s one thing to disagree with people and/or to have differing opinions and turn ons. It’s a whole other ball game when you begin making derogatory remarks about other people because of those differences.

You said you think goths are sexy, and I said I don’t think they are. Because I don’t. By definition, goths are attention-seeking. That is what they ARE. They seek attention.

Lokey, a) take a deep breath, and b), come on, man. Do you honestly think goths would dress up so elaborately (and I do admire the efforts towards glamour, on some level) if they didn’t want people to notice them? Of COURSE anyone who strives so hard to look a certain proscribed way does so for some sort of attention, and it’s not just goths, either.
I don’t think saying so is a gross generalisation or a misinterpretation at all, really - just a fact. A bigger generalisation is “the goth lifestle in general” - I mean, what the heck is the goth lifestyle in general? Scowling and lurking? Going through a lot of makeup? Yeah, awesome.
As for piercings, ha - I used to have 23 of them, so technically you have a thing for me. How many ways does THAT hurt, sweetheart?

I firmly believe that SOME goth people, if given the chance, would TOTALLY where black and all that even if they were the last person on earth. THIS IS TRUE GOTH. but i think even calling it goth denatures it’s true essence. just like calling a hippie a “hippie” will seperate you from the point of the lifestyle. in the same sense, anyone who will call themselves something, ie- Hippie, Goth, Punk….is NOT that. true essence is found within the soul, not in the clothing.
TRUE goth freaks, are black within, and without. seriously.
some people have reasons. some people have lived things you could never understand, and you DEFINITELY wouldn’t want these experiences for yourself. and YES, 90% of any style is just people acting. as most people have no identity of their own. and in my opinion, for the most part, the majority is Dumb. that’s what majority is, without an average, there would be no “smart” people, yet another “classification” .
