Awesome Shoes in China

A cool thing I noticed while I was in China was that there were a lot of awesome colorful shoes. I’d see a guy wearing a grey shirt and slacks and a pair of orange and red shoes. Or a woman would be wearing pink and white, and then blue/purple shoes. All this time I’ve seen bright funky shoes in stores and thought, “Those are cool, but what would they go with?” Oh, I see now: they don’t have to!! Brilliant.

The one bad shoe observation to report: there are Crocs in China.

I know this isn’t usually a forum for the stock market but I thought that anyone who hates Crocs as much as I do might appreciate this 1 year chart of their stock. Apparently those who bought the stock were as gullible as those who buy the shoes. Back when it was at its high, I was constantly scratching my head.

Oooo… those ARE fun shoes! I love all the colors. And makes me feel completely justified, now that my footwear (socks included) never really match the rest of what I’m wearing. :-)

I don’t see any diamantes, either, which makes them superior to most of the shoes here!

    Very cute. I like.

It’s totally the rage right now to wear colors that contrast your outfit. So if your clothing is in one family of color - your shoes can contrast. And even to wear contrasting colors in shoes, purse, and belt.

You don’t watch What Not To Wear? (innocently blinking)
