Mummy Candy

They were grey and petrified. Even so, I bit into one. Bad idea. Seriously, I wonder how old they were. I’m guessing 200 years old. I gave them a proper burial.

thats mega-fucked.
all it means is that they are at least 1 year old about. what happens is the minute amounts of moisture sealed in the package can squeeze out and create mild humidity during different seasons. The greyness is known as cocoa butter bloom. looks nasty but is not actually bad, however the staleness was probably mucho, since the humdity was lingering. Oh, sweetie, do you want me to make you some real turtles????

no one should ever sell bad / old chocolate. that’s just mean, wrong, dirty and way too sad for words.

I had that happen to me recently… bought a Hershey’s Special Dark chocolate (his fav) to play with in bed since it melts in your hands & on your body nicely. And when I opened up the package, it was just like that- all grey & brittle! Kinda wrecked my mood!

haha i was going to reprimand you for putting something so enticing up and making me want to run to the grocery store asap for some chocolate, but the ending sort of put halt to that!
