I would say there are three main ways to get a woman off with your tongue on her clit (techniques like spelling out the Ten Commandments are too gimicky):

It sounds like Wordy Thoughtful Man knows what he’s doing, but I’ll throw in my 2 cents in the spirit of brainstorming. Hopefully you’ll find something different or thought-provoking.
You might try combining TBK’s idea numbers 3 and 1. Suck in a big part of the inner lips and hold them in you mouth while doing the quick/light lapping on the clit.
On number 2, I like to press down with the full width of the tongue then drag it upwards and over the clit.
Other ideas:
When you get tired, go to number 1 and concentrate on relaxing all the mouth/jaw muscles you aren’t using–when there’s no need for tension, give them a rest.
The hands can be helpful in a number of ways.
