Filed under: Fambly - April 12, 2007 @ 4:51 amYou know how some couples will bicker all the time, or employ passive aggressive or manipulative techniques in order to get back at each other?
Well, one time my mom threw up on my dad. On purpose.
Now THAT’S hardcore. I had a boyfriend who would pick fights all the time - for some reason the thought of us being like an old married couple appealed to him. And there wasn’t even any make up sex afterwards! Anyway, in retrospect, I think I should have puked on him. The things you learn from Mom!

Well, there is some good news….you see after you’ve been married long enough (I don’t know EXACTLY how long that is) the games, the manipulation, the bickering all goes away. You become what you were (ideally) in the first place. Best friends.
The real trick is surviving those first awkward years….
It’s not all bad.

I wish you would tell my parents that. They’ve been married 40 years! But at this point I think it’s a fun game for them - they insult each other and then hold hands. Codependent freak lovebirds…xoxo

Ooo. I was going to say that my boyfriend and I playfully bicker with each other. He is truly one of the most funny people I know (me, of course, being the most funny person I know), but it’s all in good fun. I suppose outside folks would see it differently - but who cares what outside people think!? Not me…
