Christmas Sweaters
Filed under: Vexed - December 21, 2006 @ 9:27 pmI can’t decide which makes me more violent - Christmas music, or Christmas sweaters. Every time I’ve gone shopping this month, I’ve of course encountered The Fucking Music (just one reason why working retail in the month of December causes your ears to bleed) but have also encountered middle-aged women wearing very ugly sweaters they mistake for festive. Everytime I see this atrocity, I comfort myself by imagining the clueless woman getting hate fucked by Santa Claus. Ho, ho, ho.

At university of kentucky, they sell these hideous sweaters in the Christmas sweater style. “GO UK” with puffy cats and basketballs and stuff. Blue, of course. They are really really really hideous. My eyes bleed when I see them.

For a family oriented website that focuses on love and the nice things in life, these sweaters are truly an afront to your readers’ sensitivities. How can you in good conscience include them? One is bad enough, but three??? They at least deserve a warning from your website censor.
