Chris Kim, Where Are You?

On my first day of 1st grade, a boy ran by me on the playground and shouted, “Vagina!” I was immediately smitten. I played hard with Chris Kim until he moved to the Chicago area around 6th grade. We were pen pals in high school, but I lost touch with him after that, and do you know how many Chris Kims there are on the internet?! His older brother is named Eugene Kim.
Here is a pic of him. Notice not just my owlish glasses, but the firm grip I had on him. Even so, I let him get away. Sigh. But not before tackling him at recess and kissing him, much to his mortification.
I’ll bet he grew up to be a gynecologist.
